In Part 2 of her interview, Christy shares with us the tools she’s found which contribute to her continued recovery and growth.
Christy mentions a book I wrote 30 years ago. It’s now back to its original title, “Secret Families-Problem Families.” I have a couple of cases, and am trying to figure out how best to get everyone who wants one a copy. I’ll get this solved as soon as the website, LovingParentPodcast.com, is finished.

In this, the final part of our live talk, we answer participants’s questions. The names of 12-Step programs have been cut out, since I don’t represent any of them.
the book I wrote many years ago, “It’s Never Too Late to be A Happy Child” is mentioned in this episode. I still have a few cases, and I’m working on a system to get copies to those who want them free of charge. Check back for more info.

This episode is published raw and unedited. I hope the stumbles and pauses are not too distracting. Due to technical issues, posting Richard and Brita Part 2 is delayed.
Families. Healthy or unhealthy? Functional or dysfunctional? Secret or Problem? In this episode, I’ll explain the way I look at families and how the people in them can change and grow.

I promise, this podcast is not the Richard and Brita Show. But I’ve been sick and have had laryngitis. That kept me from doing my scheduled interviews. So this episode and the next are a talk Richard and I did at a speaker’s meeting in November of 2018. It was recorded live, so there may be some distortion. Our editor tried to take out as many references to specific programs and people as possible without being jarring. We hope you enjoy it! We’ll be back to interviewing some really interesting reparenters in the coming weeks.
